There were days i was lucky, they all believed my lie, my ruse of normality. I was accepted, hell i was liked, but for only so long can an alien play the role of man. Moments, seconds, where I feel I've faltered, their faces fill with suspicion, steam with aversion of the alien in human skin. Those nights under the dark cover of blindness, I work. Retracing every word. every movement. every thought. looking seeking finding the smallest possible mistake and fixing it, preparing my script for the next day over and over and over again, I can’t stop.
Accept me, I come in peace, accept me.
